A truck typically has one for each wheel, depending on the number of axles and the brake system. A standard 2-axle truck usually has 4 chambers, while trucks with more axles may have 6 or more. Additionally, trucks often have spring brake chambers for emergency and parking brakes. Does Your Braking System Need To Be…
There are various types of struts, including MacPherson struts (most common), double wishbone struts, coilover struts, air struts, and gas-charged struts. The choice of strut depends on the vehicle’s needs, including handling, performance, and ride comfort.
Brake squealing is often a result of factors like moisture, dust, or glazing, it doesn’t necessarily mean the pads are worn out. If it continues, you may need to clean and lubricate the brakes, resurface the rotors, or switch to higher-quality pads. A mechanic can inspect the brake system to have the breaks cleaned and…

There are different types of control arms, including upper and lower control arms, which are located above and below the wheel, respectively. Some vehicles also have front or rear control arms in multi-link suspension systems. Control arms can be stamped or welded, and designs like the A-arm or wishbone shape are commonly used in independent…
Yes, brake chambers can leak air. If a brake chamber is damaged or has worn seals, it may develop an air leak. This can lead to reduced air pressure in the braking system, which affects braking performance and may trigger warnings for low air pressure. Common causes of air leaks in brake chambers include: Worn…
While most turbos produce some level of sound, especially a mild whining or whistling, not all turbos make a noticeable noise. Unusual sounds, like grinding or fluttering, may indicate a problem and should be addressed.

Got an appointment, discussed what I needed fixed and they were ahead of schedule and got me fixed sooner that I thought. Great communication. Very professional firm. Everyone is very kind, knowledgeable, and transparent about what’s actually going on with the car. My wife was told by AutoZone that her alternator was bad after a battery replacement, but we brought it here for a second opinion and they confirmed the alternator was perfectly fine, which saved us a lot of time and money. I’ve also had spark plugs and ignition coils replaced, along with an oil change and transmission flush, and they were able to get me in quickly and take care of everything without hassle. We trust them and will absolutely keep using them for future service. Tavonna LebreDecember 19, 2025.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve been to Martinsburg service center twice and both times have been just such a positive experience. Firstly can we talk about the car service?!? I mean not having to pay for an additional expense or miss a day of work sitting around! Then when it was done they came and got me so I didn’t have to add and extra step to my evening with my family! Truly a blessing. The rest of the experience was just as good went for a complete and total work up on everything. They were fair, quick, considerate and notified me regarding the one minor thing they found (a bulb out). Just really great service all around! Then a few months later I started hearing a noise from my car it was loud and I was nervous to drive it. I call late one evening and Nick got someone to check it out ASAP (honestly he tried to get me there that night but I live across town so didn’t work but still). Once they figure out what it was they told me it could be a day before he could get me in but if they had any free time they would work me in. My car was done that evening. Again another day where that ride service came in handy, Truly appreciate the service and the people who work here. Everyone was kind, professional and they just cared! Would recommend! Margaret HooglandOctober 16, 2025.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. How about Ten Stars, and More ! Made an appointment very easily for a convenient appointment time, for repair of a headlight. All details were provided in advance, including approximately cost and time needed; I spent that time in the very comfortable customer section. Nick checked me in, and Todd performed the repair. Each member of your team has always been very polite and informative as I have been there a few times for a different car. I encourage Everyone to take a walk along the "Wall of Certifications"...You'll be amazed and be even more certain you have have come to the right place! I'm very grateful to be a customer for a "Small Business," which is truly Giant in its manner of business. Many Thanks to All.
